X3100 Tweak Util by ISAIR

Hello. As mentioned before, ever since I got my new work, it has constrained me from completing the tweak util I was developing for the X3100.

Fortunately, another coder, ISAIR, has stepped up to plate and has come up with a tweak utility for the X3100.

Good thing he was able to come up with it as I couldn't find the time nor the energy to continue with my development.

This shall be a big help to x3100 users out there who don't feel comfortable puttering around with their registry.

TWEAK UTIL ON HOLD.

Hello everyone. As fate would have it, I have put on hold the development of the tweak util for the X3100.

This util was meant to edit the registry settings, implementing the steps outlined on the "Advanced Tweaks" method without anyone having to mess around with Regedit itself and putting their systems at risk.

However, I have recently gotten a lot of work which limits the time available for me to continue development. In addition to that, I have been assigned away from my main comp which I use for programming, company-provided comp is not up to the job.

Rest assured I will continue work on this as soon as time permits. There are a lot of X3100 owners out there and I really want to help them maximize the gear they purchased.

X3100 Tweak Util

Hi everyone! I'm halfway through with my promised X3100 util application as promised earlier.

I just saw the need for a utility like this to help keep others from messing up their registry while tweaking, and at the same time give convenience for those who know registry tweaking.

No more opening up Regedit and searching for the keywords, manually adding/modifying keys and whatnot, just a simple click on a button or two and off you go to see if it has helped make your game run better.

I may just be able to wrap this up before the month ends (± a few days or so).

RA3 to get an expansion

EA has just announced that Red Alert 3 will be getting an expansion available on Digital Download this coming March.

X3100 on Windows 7

A good day to all.

There has been talk about the Intel X3100 gaining an increase in performance in Microsoft's OS follow up to Vista which it calls Windows 7. This is probably due to the fact that the WDDM in Win7 is a much more improved version than the Vista one.

We may need to wait for some time before we can get Win7, although it wouldn't hurt if Microsoft included the improved version in Vista SP2 (wink*wink*nudge*nudge*hint*hint).

Let's hope it just gets better from here.
